Title: Revisiting the Supermassive Black Hole Images: What Have We Learned?

Summary: In October 2023, GSU began hosting a monthly astrophysics lecture series at Three Taverns Brewery. Just a few months after that, the series evolved into the official Atlanta chapter of the international science outreach program Astronomy on Tap. Now, Astronomy on Tap Atlanta celebrates its 2 year anniversary here at the Parlour where it all began, and so we'll be returning to the first topic ever talked about in our series - the first real images of supermassive black holes as seen by the Event Horizon Telescope. Join Astronomy on Tap Atlanta's program manager and host Dr. Justin Robinson as we revisit these monumental achievements in astrophysics and ask, in the years since the first black hole image was released, what have we learned?
